Borderlands 4 (BL4): Order Bunker Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Order Bunkers are the six mini-dungeons of Borderlands 4 — sealed cave facilities locked by armoured doors and guarded by some of Kairos's toughest Order enemies, each ending in a named Boss encounter with a dedicated legendary loot pool.

Completing all 6 Order Bunkers — alongside Order Silos, Safehouses, Ripper Drill Sites, Abandoned Auger Mines, and Ancient Crawlers — is mandatory for the Ruler of Everything trophy and achievement, which requires completing all 53 activities across Kairos.

Every bunker entrance and Locust Vial location is cross-linked at exact coordinates on the BL4 free interactive maps.

How to Unlock and Enter Order Bunkers

Order Bunkers become active after completing Main Mission 5: One Fell Swoop — which unlocks the ability to use Locust Vials.

The exception is Ironwall Resolve in Terminus District, which requires reaching Dominion City during Main Mission 17: The Falling Wall before it can be accessed.

Once in range, a bunker marks itself on the in-game map. Every bunker entrance is sealed by an armoured door that requires a two-step unlock:

• Find the Locust Vial — a glowing canister located near the sealed entrance. Vials are placed inside control rooms, on elevated platforms, in gaps on cliff faces, or on rocks below the entrance. Some dispensers in Dominion require powering first before the Vial appears. Every Vial's exact position is cross-linked from its bunker's guide entry.
• Throw the Vial at the door — the acid dissolves the armoured barrier. Aim directly at the door's centre panel and throw from any range.

What's Inside Each Order Bunker

Inside, a corridor of Order enemies leads to the boss arena through environmental obstacles, including vents, battery-and-button door puzzles, and elevator shafts.

Defeating the boss clears the bunker and awards 40 SDU tokens plus a loot drop from the boss's dedicated legendary pool. A Moxxi's Big Encore machine spawns outside each bunker after the first clear, allowing infinite boss respawns for farming.

Most bunker bosses carry both Shield and Armor health bars — use Shock for Shields and Corrosive or Cryo for Armor:

• The Howl — Blacklime Bunker → boss: Core Observer (Shield + Armor: Shock then Corrosive)
• Idolator's Noose — Tipping Point → boss: Mimicron (creates Shielded copies of itself; use Shock then Corrosive/Cryo on main boss)
• Grindstone of the Worthy — The Crawlcroft → boss: Fractis (drop through hole to northwest to enter underground)
• The Low Leys — The Wireworks → boss: The Divisioner (destroying its Shield summons Renditions — smaller Shield-bar copies; destroy Renditions to expose the Divisioner's Armor, then use Corrosive)
• Heart of the Mountain — Craven's Nook → boss: Callous Harbinger of Annihilating Death (large Shield + Armor; use Shock then Corrosive/Cryo)
• Terminus District — Ironwall Resolve → boss: Directive-0 (requires Dominion City access: Main Mission 17)
